Vertical Electrophoresis Cell GEP-VH-SCZ04B
Request a quoteOverview
The GEP-VH-SCZ04B is a vertical electrophoresis cell for rapid SSR molecular marker experiments and other high-throughput protein electrophoresis. Up to 200 samples can be run in one session using 102-tooth combs, with 68-tooth combs for pipette loading. The gel area is 300 × 105 mm on 338 × 120 mm glass plates.
The tank is injection molded in one piece from polycarbonate for high transparency, strength and impact resistance. A patented glass clamp and support structure simplifies gel casting, and the clamp can be mounted on the tank without being removed. A colored upper tank makes wells easier to see during loading, and a patented 360° rotating positioning tray means the tank does not need to be moved while loading.
Electrodes are 99.99% pure platinum with protective covers. Transparent safety lids cover the upper and lower tanks, the upper lid has heat vents, and the unit can connect to circulating cooling water for constant temperature. The GEP-PH-600C power supply can run two tanks at once.
