Request a quoteOverview
The MTP-685 and MTP-682 are video melting point apparatus that measure four capillaries at once in automatic or visual mode. The MTP-685 covers room temperature to 400 °C and the MTP-682 room temperature to 360 °C, with linear heating rates of 0.1 to 20 °C/min, 0.01 °C display resolution and accuracy of ±0.3 °C up to 200 °C and ±0.5 °C above.
A 720P HD camera records the melting process for video playback on a 10.1-inch Android capacitive touch screen, and PID and PWM control regulate temperature. Light source brightness and detection sensitivity can be adjusted for dark samples. The MTP-685 stores 200 methods and 40,000 curves with 128 GB storage, while the MTP-682 stores 150 methods and 20,000 curves with 64 GB. Electronic signatures are standard and an optional audit trail supports Pharmacopoeia, GMP, GLP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
Connectivity includes RS232, three USB ports, RJ-45 and Wi-Fi. It is used for drugs, fragrances, dyes and other organic crystalline substances.
