Product overview
The VMX-F mixes liquid components in tubes and resuspends cells using an eccentric orbital mechanism. It is widely used in biological and chemical analysis and can be fitted with optional adapters for different mixing tasks.
The mixer runs at a fixed 3000 rpm on a 4 mm orbit, driven by a shaded pole motor. It can be operated in touch mode, starting when a tube is pressed onto the cup, or in continuous mode.
A cast-aluminium body and vacuum suction feet keep it stable on the bench. It measures 127 × 130 × 160 mm, weighs 2 kg and is available for 110 to 120 V or 220 to 230 V supplies.
