VMX4.5-35 Mini Vortex Mixer

The VMX4.5-35 uses eccentric orbital motion to create a vortex in test tubes and similar containers, mixing the solution thoroughly, including liquid clinging to the tube wall. Because no stirrer or magnet is used, the sample is not exposed to outside contamination or magnetic fields.

The mixer runs from 1000 to 3500 rpm on a 4.5 mm orbit and starts when a tube is pressed onto the cup. It handles single tubes up to 30 mm in diameter, including tubes up to 50 mL, with a maximum load of 0.1 kg.

Measuring 125 × 115 × 76 mm and weighing 0.55 kg, it fits on crowded benches. It is used for mixing and extraction in environmental monitoring, healthcare, petrochemical, food and metallurgy laboratories, and for shaking cultures of biological samples, cells and bacteria.
