Product overview
The S60-3 and S60-4 are solvent safety waste caps for collecting HPLC and other laboratory liquid waste. The S60 thread fits conventional waste containers, and the caps provide 3 or 4 tubing ports with 3.2 mm ID fittings, plus one reserved port for an activated carbon exhaust filter. Color-coded interfaces make it easy to identify each tubing line.
The cap body is PP with a 360° free rotating PTFE cover and PP fittings, chosen for heat and corrosion resistance. The activated carbon filter adsorbs and helps decompose toxic vapors, capturing volatile emissions before release and reducing harmful emissions by up to 80%, and comes with a 6-month time strip as a replacement reminder.
The set includes a black S60 safety cap, a red HDPE activated carbon exhaust filter and a 25 L translucent HDPE waste container. It protects against solvent, acid and alkali vapors and works with a wide range of container types and tubing sizes.
