Product overview
The NEC100-1 evaporates solvents by directing a stream of gas onto the surface of each sample while a water bath supplies gentle heat from room temperature +5°C to 99°C. It has 12 numbered positions and accepts tubes from 10 to 29 mm in diameter holding 1 to 50 mL of liquid.
Gas passes through a flow meter into a distribution system, and each valve-tube assembly can be raised or lowered to suit the tube size and solvent volume, with up to 200 mm of vertical travel. Each position is blown independently and its needle valve controls the gas consumed at that position.
The unit has an LCD display, a timer up to 99 h 59 min or continuous operation, a liquid-level sensor that alarms on dry heating, and anti-corrosion parts that are easy to clean.
