WHT-V Whiteness Meter
Request a quoteOverview
The WHT-V measures the whiteness of materials such as flour, starch, rice flour, salt, chemical fiber, plastics, porcelain, clay, talc, white cement, paint, ceramics, enamel, paper and pulp. It measures from 0 to 100 by reflection, with repeatability, indicating value drift and zero point drift each ≤0.1 and indicating value error ≤0.5.
It uses diffuse illumination with vertical viewing (d/0) and simulated D65 illumination, a Φ120 mm diffuse sphere and a Φ20 mm measuring hole. A light absorber removes the influence of specularly reflected light. Embedded microcomputer control and a fast digital algorithm complete a measurement in about two seconds, using a simple linear calculation method.
Calibration is simple, with one-key zero calibration, full digital whiteboard calibration and automatic saving of calibration parameters. A long-life light source rated up to 100,000 hours and a fully sealed design suit production site testing in the food, chemical, paper and building materials industries.
