Product overview
The LabTech LZA series are compact laboratory air purifiers that produce hydrocarbon-free zero air. A heated catalyst reduces total hydrocarbons and methane to less than 0.05 ppm.
Zero air is used as fuel air for flame ionization detectors and as a zero reference for instruments that measure hydrocarbon concentration. LZA generators produce this gas in-house from compressed air, removing the need for high-pressure cylinders. Five models cover flow rates from 1,000 to 30,000 cc/min.
The units are plug and play and stackable. Typical applications include FID, FPD, PFPD and NPD detectors and thermogravimetric analysis. The LabTech LAC air compressors can supply the inlet air.
