Product overview
The LabTech MultiVap 96 is a nitrogen evaporator designed for microplates. It concentrates samples with high throughput, for example in sample preparation for drug screening, hormone analysis, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
Instead of heating from a dry block underneath, the MultiVap 96 uses direct nitrogen heating, which LabTech states improves heating uniformity and brings samples to evaporation faster. Nitrogen purge pressure and flow rate (0 to 20 L/min) can be set to suit the samples, and the temperature range is ambient to 80 °C.
Temperature, time and flow are set on an LCD touch screen, four methods can be stored, the plate holder height is adjustable and the plate lifts up and down automatically. The nitrogen needles are removable for cleaning.
