Product overview
LabTech VP series pumps are oil-free membrane vacuum pumps. They were created as companions for LabTech rotary evaporators but are also used for vacuum filtration, degassing, impregnation, drying chambers, distillation, gel dryers, gas analytical systems and roughing of turbo molecular pumps.
The web page lists three models with pumping speeds from 18 to 50 L/min; the current brochure tables the VP30, VP18 PLUS, VP50 PLUS and VP20 PLUS. Ultimate vacuum ranges from 250 mbar on the VP30 to 5 mbar on the VP20 PLUS, and the PLUS models include a manual vacuum controller.
The pumps are compact and light, with noise from 42 to 60 dB, and the surface and main parts carry an anticorrosive coating for long service. LabTech recommends the VP18 PLUS as the match for its rotary evaporators.
