Overview

Product overview

CLKDOC138 is a perfluoropolyether oil whose long-chain polymer structure resists heat, oxidation, radiation and aggressive chemicals. It is colorless, transparent, non-flammable and compatible with many plastics and elastomers, making it suitable where contamination and chemical reactions must be avoided.

Published properties include viscosity of 7 cSt at 20 °C and 4 cSt at 40 °C, pour point below -70 °C, density 1.87 g/mL at 0 °C and 1.67 g/mL at 100 °C, and ultra-low vapor pressure. It is used to lubricate vacuum pumps and critical systems; unlike conventional lubricants it does not oxidize, coke or emulsify in water.
