Overview

Product overview

The KRYZ battery pack cooling system drives refrigerant directly through the battery pack's own cooling plate, simulating a vehicle's air-conditioning loop on a test bench at -40 to 50 °C ambient test conditions. It provides 0.5 to 10 kW of cooling (and heating on the ZLH models) with suction pressure held at 300 to 600 kPa and condensation pressure better than ±50 kPa.

Rated conditions are dry bulb 20 °C, wet bulb 16 °C, inlet water 20 °C and outlet water 25 °C. Components include a variable-frequency compressor and fan, a flowmeter for refrigerant flow measurement and a programmable PLC.

Features

Key features

  • 01

    Direct refrigerant loop

Refrigerant, not coolant, passes through the pack plate.

  • 02

    Pressure control

Suction pressure 300 to 600 kPa.

  • 03

    Heating option

    ZLH models add heating capacity.
