Overview

Product overview

Snijders Labs climate chambers are built in Tilburg for the cycle the protocol actually needs: temperature, moisture, and light, including true day/night programmes. They are specified for plant growth, Arabidopsis, tissue culture, seed germination, insect breeding, and related life-science work — not as generic cooled cabinets with a lamp added later.

The range starts with Economic Lux ECL02: a large working volume on a small footprint, eye-level controller, vertical airflow, stainless-steel 304 interior, and lamp changes that keep the same spectrum. Premium ICH cabinets (ECP02, ECP03-TH, ECP03-TL) add an 8.4 inch touch display, optional live view on a PC or Android phone, 900 × 600 mm platforms (0.54 m²), and a stainless evaporator option for Drosophila where excrement acids attack ordinary coils. Modular MD600, MD900, MD1400, and MD1650 chambers open across the full platform with no doorpost, run vertical or horizontal airflow, stack multiple growing layers, and start as temperature-only units that grow with the lighting and humidity the trial needs. High-specification MC1000 and MC1750 chambers cover Arctic work to −15 °C, CO₂ above or below ambient, red/far-red ratio experiments, and tropical or desert simulation with light intensity of at least 1,200 μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹.

LED lighting is configured per chamber — efficacy, intensity, spectrum, and dimming — rather than a single stock lamp. Bespoke size and climate options are the normal path, not an exception.

Al-Shaker specifies the ECL, ECP, MD, or MC line to the organism and the photoperiod, then installs, commissions, and supports the chamber across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.

Features

Key features

  • 01

Day/night climate, not just a setpoint

Temperature, humidity, and illumination programmed together for germination, in-vitro, Arabidopsis, and insect work.

  • 02

ECL to MC without changing manufacturer

Compact ECL02, ICH-ready ECP, modular MD rooms, and high-spec MC cabinets including −15 °C and 1,200 μmol lighting.

  • 03

Built around the platform, not the door

Vertical airflow, stainless interiors, and MD/MC access across the full 900 × 600 mm platform with no doorpost.
