Product overview
The AZ2-BWP series is a battery-operated explosion-proof scale range covering 6000 g to 150 kg. All models are IP65 rated and can be washed with water after use.
It runs on four D-size alkaline batteries for approximately 1,000 hours of continuous operation with the backlight off, so no wiring is needed in the hazardous area. A large 25 mm back-lit LCD aids reading.
Practical field functions include auto tare when a container is placed on the pan, a zero-point reminder ("-----Z") and a tare reminder ("-----T"), plus password protection. The explosion-proof certification is the Japanese TIIS standard, with no IECEx approval.
