Overview

Product overview

FZ is ViBRA’s intrinsically safe scale for explosive gas atmospheres: ATEX and IECEx II 1 G Ex ia IIB T4 Ga, category 1G for Zones 0, 1, and 2, with IP65 washdown on every model. Capacity runs from FZ623Ex at 620 g / 0.001 g through bench and floor models to FZ300K1GFEx at 300 kg / 1 g. OIML/EC Class II applies. Indicators are selectable i02 (single display) or i03 (two sub-displays for tare, gross, and limits). A power-supply box is included; scale cables are 1 m on most models and 5 m on the 150/300 kg platforms, with optional extensions to 10–20 m and power cables to 70 m.

The tuning-fork sensor is the reason a 300 kg platform can still read 1 g, and a 620 g unit can still read 1 mg, in an Ex environment. After a shift the chassis can be washed. Options include extra RS232C or RS422A, relay contact, windshields for the 623, poles and display stands.

Al-Shaker specifies FZ to the zone drawing, capacity, and indicator — then installs and supports the Ex weighing point, not a laboratory balance parked in a classified room.

Key features

  • 01

    Ga in Zone 0

II 1 G Ex ia IIB T4 Ga so the scale can sit in the atmosphere the method actually uses.

  • 02

    620 g at 1 mg, 300 kg at 1 g

One Ex family from a milligram bench to a floor platform, same service contract.

  • 03

    IP65 after the batch

Wash the platform; optional waterproof I/O so the printer stays outside the zone.
