Product overview
The CZ-B series is a compact top-loading balance for hazardous areas, combining explosion protection, high precision and IP65 water and dust protection in one body. It uses a tuning-fork sensor and a stainless steel construction.
Standard models read to 0.01 g, 0.1 g or 1 g depending on capacity, while the S versions improve this to 0.001 g to 0.1 g. Capacities run from 320 g to 15000 g.
It runs on four D-size dry-cell batteries, for up to 200 hours with the backlight off, so it can be carried anywhere in the plant. The explosion-proof certification is the Japanese TIIS standard; ViBRA states there is no IECEx approval for this series.
