Product overview

Weighing objects, especially non-conductive materials like plastic, can build up static electricity that disturbs the reading and causes large measurement errors. The LAS-05D-SD ionizer neutralizes static charge on the object and in the surrounding environment.

It uses DC corona discharge of both polarities with an effective ionizing area of 50 to 700 mm and neutralizes in approximately 8 seconds, controlled by the TAIBS ion-balance method. Ozone generation is below 0.04 ppm, and it draws 2.8 W.

Ionization life is stated as 50,000 operating hours and needle life as 6,000 operating hours. It measures 180 x 84 x 114 mm and weighs 180 g.
