96 Round Deep Well Storage Microplate

This 96 deep-well plate has round wells with U-shaped bottoms and is available with 1.2 ml or 2.0 ml wells. Its SBS footprint makes it suitable for many manual and automated protocols, including library and sample preparation, collection from filter systems, and bead separation on magnetic plates.

The plates are produced in cleanroom facilities from medical-grade virgin polypropylene, which has low biomolecule binding and resists DMSO, phenol, chloroform and many other lab chemicals. They are autoclavable and can be used from -80 °C to 120 °C, so they serve both as working plates and for frozen storage.

Round wells reduce droplet effects and wicking, while the U-bottom suits washing, mixing and pelleting. Plates stack, carry an alphanumeric grid and can be closed with Azenta adhesive or heat seals or a silicone mat. Sterile and barcoded versions are available on request.
