Overview

Product overview

This family of screw-thread vials is made from USP Type 1 borosilicate glass with a flat bottom. The 8-425, 9-425 and 10-425 finishes are 2.0 mL vials (11.6 x 32 mm, recommended fill 1.5 mL), while the 13-425 vial holds 4.0 mL (15 x 45 mm).

Each finish suits a different need. The 8-425 is the original smaller-opening autosampler vial for autosamplers requiring narrow-neck vials. The 9-425 is dimensionally equivalent to 11 mm crimp-top vials, so it fits autosamplers designed for those vials, and it seals well while being easy to apply and remove by hand. The 10-425 has a wider opening, giving a larger target area that eases injection and reduces the chance of bending or breaking needles. The 13-425 seals well for storing a sample and transferring it directly.

Vials come clear or amber, with or without a write-on spot, 100 per box, and matching screw caps with PTFE/silicone septa are listed for each finish.
