Product overview
The Biocomma 96-well filtration plate is designed for high-throughput sample processing. The plate is injection-moulded from medical-grade polypropylene, and the frits are precision-sintered from UHMW-PE of uniform particle size. Frits of different pore sizes are available to filter complex samples.
The plates are designed for filtering viscous samples such as bacterial liquids and are suitable for filtration at the micrometre level and above. They can be used with negative pressure or centrifugation, work with compatible microplate collection plates, and conform to ANSI/SBS standards for easy automation. Well volumes of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mL are offered with 5, 20 and 50 µm frits, plus DVfree 96-well (400 and 600 µL) and 384-well (150 µL) formats.
