Overview

Product overview

These flasks are intended for shaker cultivation of bacteria, yeast and other microorganisms, and can also be used to hold or measure liquids and to prepare and mix reagents. They are produced by injection stretch blow moulding, giving a seamless body with uniform wall thickness.

The medical-grade polycarbonate is highly transparent, with clear, accurate graduations, and is chemically resistant. Compared with traditional glass Erlenmeyer flasks, polycarbonate offers better impact resistance and is less prone to breakage. Flasks are available in 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mL, in flat-bottom and baffled-bottom versions.
