Product overview
The system combines a preservation solution, a preservation tube and small porcelain beads for the preservation and transfer of laboratory strains. It is applied for clinical drug-susceptibility test strains, for monitoring isolates in disease control, for daily access and storage in strain preservation centres, and for storing and retrieving positive control strains in pharmaceutical companies.
The tube is injection-moulded from a special material that seals well and tolerates low temperatures, and the porous ceramic beads encourage bacterial adhesion. The system is simple and convenient to use and is supplied in boxes of 81 or 25.
