Request a quoteOverview
Beef extract is an animal-derived nutritional supplement for microbial culture media, especially for bacteria with high nutritional requirements. It is made from fresh beef through fat removal, heat treatment, enzymatic digestion, filtration, concentration and spray drying, giving a yellowish-brown powder.
It contains water-soluble components such as creatine, nucleotides, peptides, amino acids, organic acids, minerals and vitamins, and supplies nitrogen, energy, phosphates and growth factors for culture media and fermentation. Add it according to the medium formulation.
