Product overview
Biocomma hydrophilic frits start as hydrophobic ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and are sintered with an advanced process, then modified so that the surface becomes hydrophilic and wets readily with water-based liquids.
Frits can be chosen by thickness (1.6 mm or 2.5 mm as standard, others customizable), pore size (50 µm as standard, others customizable) and diameter. The catalog lists dozens of sizes from 1.4 mm to 51 mm in diameter, mostly at 1.6 mm thick and 50 µm pore, with some finer 2, 5 and 20 µm versions, all packed 1,000 per pack.
