Overview

Product overview

CommaSil® C18-P retains and separates polar analytes under reversed-phase and HILIC conditions while supporting fast, accurate and reproducible quantitative analysis. Its end-capping technology is aimed at better retention, sensitivity and peak shape.

The column improves retention of polar compounds while keeping moderate retention of moderately and strongly hydrophobic compounds, and it tolerates 100% aqueous mobile phases. Biocomma lists it as equivalent to the Waters Atlantis C18 series.

Published application examples include emetine-related substances, 13 organic acids and amoxicillin / clavulanate potassium, with full method conditions on the product page. It is offered in 3 μm and 5 μm particle sizes with 2.1, 3.0 and 4.6 mm internal diameters.
