Product overview
CommaSil® C18 is made from high-purity silica microspheres with uniform particle size and pore structure. Advanced surface bonding and comprehensive capping reduce silica activity, so the column suits analytes of varying hydrophobicity and serves as a general-purpose first choice.
Its chromatographic performance, selectivity and reproducibility make it a preferred option for method development under non-extreme chromatographic conditions, across pharmaceutical, environmental and food-safety testing. Biocomma lists it as equivalent to the Waters Symmetry C18 series.
Application examples on the page include L-tryptophan, olaquinol metabolites, 11 synthetic colorants, cefazolin sodium, abamectin and 6-benzyladenine. It is offered in 3, 3.5 and 5 μm particle sizes.
