Product overview
CommaSil® C4 300 Å uses a dedicated bonding process and full capping to reach a high coverage of the bonded phase, which reduces the influence of residual silanol groups on the analysis. The 300 Å pore size makes it especially suitable for peptide and protein samples.
It retains both hydrophobic and polar compounds well, and double end-capping limits the effect of residual silanols, giving good peak shapes for basic and strongly polar compounds.
The page shows lactoferrin determination as an application example (UV 280 nm, acetonitrile / 0.1% TFA gradient). Particle sizes of 3, 3.5 and 5 μm are offered in 2.1, 3.0 and 4.6 mm internal diameters.
