Overview

Product overview

CommaSil® NH2 uses a distinctive amino bonding technology that reduces hydrolysis of the amino bonded phase, which improves column stability and lifetime. It gives good retention and selectivity under normal-phase, reversed-phase and ion-exchange conditions across a wide range of compounds.

In normal-phase mode it suits hydrophobic compounds, and in HILIC mode it separates hydrophilic and polar compounds such as carbohydrates, monosaccharides, oligosaccharides and sugar alcohols.

The page's application example is the separation of glucosamine sulfate and its related impurities (N-acetylglucosamine, fructosazine and deoxyfructosazine). It is offered as a 250 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm column (HNH536).
