Overview

Product overview

CommaSil® Silica is made of high-purity, fully porous spherical silica without surface modification, characterized by low acidity and low metal content.

The column suits HILIC-mode separations with high organic mobile phases and is especially suited to strongly hydrophilic compounds.

The page's application example is the determination of five phospholipids in soybean (phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidyl inositol, lysophosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine and lysophosphatidylcholine) by ELSD. It is offered as a 250 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm column (HSO536).
