Product overview
Copure® alumina cartridges are packed with a high-activity porous alumina. Its surface can form π-π interactions with aromatic rings and shows strong polar retention with Lewis acid character. Compared with unbonded silica, alumina stays more stable at high pH, which makes it a good choice for extracting aromatic amine compounds.
The alumina is treated in three grades, acidic (ALA, pH 4.0), neutral (ALN, pH 7.0) and basic (ALB, pH 9.5), so the sorbent can be matched to the properties of the target compounds. Each grade is offered in seven cartridge formats from 100 mg/1 mL to 2000 mg/12 mL.
