Copure® C18 Endcapped is an octadecyl-bonded silica gel that retains non-polar compounds through strong hydrophobic interactions. It can hold most organic substances and is widely used for environmental and food safety work.
The high carbon load gives strong hydrophobicity, while full endcapping reduces interference from basic and polar compounds. Typical applications include polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soil, pesticide and veterinary drug residues such as antibiotics in food, and pigments and sugars in food. Several specification variants are offered under separate catalog numbers.
