Product overview
Copure® C8/SAX combines octyl and quaternary amine functional groups in a defined proportion. The octyl groups give moderate hydrophobic interaction, and the quaternary amine gives strong anion exchange, so the cartridge offers two retention mechanisms.
It is intended for samples where C18 and C8 adsorb too strongly and SAX holds analytes so tightly that elution is difficult. It handles complex matrices such as blood and urine, and is used for drugs and metabolites in biological fluids, for example barbiturates, and for drugs of abuse such as THC.
