Overview

Product overview

Copure® Carb-GCB/PSA has retention capabilities similar to Carb-GCB/NH2 and is used to purify samples before multi-residue pesticide detection. PSA carries an additional secondary amine group compared with NH2, which raises its ion exchange capacity and lets it act as a complexing ligand for certain metal ions, giving different selectivity from the GCB/NH2 cartridge.

An ultra-thin sieve plate between the two layers keeps flow uniform and maximizes removal of interferences. It is applied to remove fatty acids and other components in multi-residue pesticide analysis of food, and to detect nicotine pesticides in soil, fruits and alcoholic beverages.

Features

Key features

  • 01

    Greater retention capacity

    Higher retention capacity than Carb-GCB/NH2.

  • 02

    Different selectivity

The secondary amine of PSA adds ion exchange capacity and can complex certain metal ions.

  • 03

    Uniform flow

An ultra-thin sieve plate ensures even flow between the two layers.

  • 04

    Maximal interference removal

Designed to remove as many interfering substances from the sample as possible.

  • 05

    Food and soil applications

Fatty acid removal in multi-residue pesticide analysis; nicotine pesticides in soil, fruits and alcoholic beverages.
