Request a quoteOverview
Copure® CN is a weakly hydrophobic silica-based sorbent that can be used as a normal-phase or a reversed-phase sorbent. In reversed-phase mode it extracts non-polar or weakly polar acidic, neutral and basic compounds from aqueous solutions; in normal-phase mode it extracts polar compounds from non-polar organic solutions. Cyanopropyl can also complex certain metal ions in aqueous solution.
For strongly hydrophobic substances that bind irreversibly to C18, the CN phase is a more suitable choice. Applications include drugs and metabolites such as steroids in biological fluids, pesticide and veterinary drug residues in food and dairy products, and petroleum pollutants and pesticide residues in environmental samples.

Works as a normal-phase or reversed-phase sorbent.
A better choice for strongly hydrophobic substances that bind irreversibly to C18.
Good compatibility with biological matrices.
Polarity can be adjusted through the solvent ratio.
Steroids in biological fluids, residues in food and dairy, petroleum pollutants in environmental samples.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
