Overview

Product overview

Chromium (VI) in leather articles forms from chromium (III) during leather production. The toxic substance has been banned in China and the EU. To determine chromium (VI), pigments in the leather extract must first be removed.

These destaining cartridges are optimized for that purpose and are stated to improve recovery and repeatability. The related method listed is ISO 17075:2007 for chromium(VI) content in leather. Three formats are offered: 500 mg/3 mL, 500 mg/6 mL and 1000 mg/12 mL.
