Product overview
Pesticide-grade Florisil, activated at 675 °C, is a highly polar, high-activity porous adsorbent that retains low to moderately polar target compounds, such as pesticides containing fluorine or nitrogen and weakly polar organic pesticides. Florisil cartridges are effective and cost-efficient for multi-residue pesticide detection.
The manufacturer states that the sorbent is adopted by the US EPA 608 method and the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture NY/T 761 method. Applications include organochlorine and organophosphate pesticide residues and mycotoxins in food, endocrine disruptors and pesticide residues in environmental samples, fatty acids in oils, and enrichment of metal ions.
