Product overview
Copure® MCX is a mixed-mode strong cation exchange adsorbent made by bonding sulfonic acid groups to the surface of highly cross-linked PS/DVB. It offers both reversed-phase and strong cation exchange retention and holds basic substances particularly well.
The large surface area and high ion exchange capacity are combined with tolerance of pH 1-14 and stability in organic solutions. Applications include pesticide and veterinary drug residues in food, such as clenbuterol, and drugs and their metabolites in biological matrices. Biocomma states that each batch passes performance verification. Application notes cover cyromazine in chicken, nitroimidazoles in beef and beta-agonists in beef.
