Overview

Product overview

SLE (solid-supported liquid/liquid extraction) is an efficient and economical extraction method. Only two steps, sample application and elution, are needed to extract target compounds from the aqueous phase. It is applied in food safety, environmental monitoring, clinical diagnosis, forensic science and industrial product testing.

No shaking is required and no microemulsion forms, while organic solvent use and cost are reduced and the workflow is easy to automate and run in parallel. Applications include drugs in biological fluids, for example the antidepressant sertraline and the anti-inflammatory ibuprofen, and parabens in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and foods.
