Product overview
Disposable plastic inoculation loops are single-use tools for transferring microorganisms, mainly from one Petri dish or test tube to another or for inoculating within the same dish or tube. The loops and needles are made of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), are free of contamination, enzymes and pyrogens, and are sterilised by ethylene oxide or irradiation.
Loops are offered in 1, 5 and 10 µL sizes, together with a needle and combined loop-plus-needle formats and several packaging options. Before use, check that the outer packaging is intact, avoid contamination during handling, take care to pick representative, intact colonies, and discard used items in a designated container to prevent cross-contamination.
