Product overview
Biocomma Empty Affinity Chromatography (AC) Column Kits provide everything needed for manual column packing: empty tubes, frits, upper and bottom caps, a plunger, a syringe and a connecting pipe.
The packing procedure given on the page has five steps: pretreat the frits in deionized water or 20% ethanol to remove bubbles, seat the bottom frit with the plunger and cap the outlet, transfer the resin and let it settle, push in the top frit, then fill the column with a suitable solvent, avoid bubbles, and seal both ends for storage.
Kits are available for 1, 3, 6, 12, 30, 60, 150 and 300 mL columns, plus a 1 mL Luer-inlet kit.
