Product overview
Biocomma Empty FPLC Columns let researchers pack their own chromatographic media, using separation mechanisms such as immunoaffinity, ion exchange, size exclusion or reverse phase, for purifying tagged proteins, recombinant proteins and antibodies and for desalting nucleic acids, peptides and proteins.
Each column contains a tube, a sealing sleeve and plug, top and bottom frits and stop plugs, and has a snap-off end on the outlet. The tube is biocompatible polypropylene and the frits are porous polypropylene. The 1 mL and 5 mL sizes work with LC systems such as ÄKTA purifiers, peristaltic pumps or syringes, with assembly tools and plungers sold separately.
