Product overview
biocomma® Empty SPE Cartridge Kits bundle the cartridge, frits and a plunger, so everything needed to pack a cartridge arrives together. Straight-barrel sizes run from 1 mL to 300 mL, with a 1 mL Luer-inlet kit and a 6 mL glass cartridge with frits also listed.
The maker gives a three-step packing method. First, push the bottom frit to the base of the cartridge with the plunger. Second, keep the cartridge upright, place a long-stem funnel on it and add the sorbent, taking care that sorbent does not stick to the wall when the funnel is removed. Third, push the top frit horizontally into place; if a gap shows above the sorbent, tap the wall gently and reposition the frit.
