G25 Desalting Cartridges and Plates

Biocomma G-25 desalting cartridges and plates use Dextran G-25 gel-filtration media to separate molecules by size. Larger molecules are excluded from the gel pores and elute first, while small molecules enter the pores and elute later, which separates biomolecules from salts and other small impurities.

They are intended for the purification and desalting of proteins larger than 5 kDa and nucleic acids longer than 10 bp/nt. Cartridges are listed in a range of bed and total volumes, together with a 96-well centrifugal plate, and are stored at 2-8 °C.
