Biocomma GICA Optimizer protects antibodies, enhances colloidal stability and extends antibody shelf life. According to the page, it reduces matrix effects, particularly those of urine samples, and increases hydrophilicity to shorten the antigen-antibody reaction time.
It also helps limit shedding of labeled antibodies, improves the accuracy of quantitative testing by optimizing the standard curve, and gives better uniformity and between-run reproducibility. The four components SDS-L, SDS-F, L-90D and L-30 are sold individually or together in an optimized kit.
