Product overview
In clinical blood sampling, H2OStop® self-sealing filters used with arterial blood samplers simplify the procedure, prevent air from contacting the blood sample and avoid gas exchange between air and blood.
The filters are made of ultra-pure UHMW-PE with no erythrocyte adhesiveness and no leachable plasticizers that could influence test results. The standard item CF25-45 measures 2.5 mm in diameter by 4.5 mm thick and is packed 10,000 per box; customized filters are available.
