Product overview
Suction canisters and liners are widely used for waste disposal and treatment in hospitals. H2OStop® self-sealing filters let air exhaust freely so waste liquid can be collected in the canister. When a filter contacts waste liquid it seals immediately, preventing spills and protecting medical equipment and surroundings from contamination.
The filters work at pressures above 50 kPa, equivalent to 5-10 m of water, and undergo stringent quality testing to meet medical requirements. Four standard sizes are listed (IPA160-245-X, IPA190-292-X, IPA252 and IPA276); sizes are for reference only and Biocomma should be contacted to confirm the right filter for a specific application.
