Product overview
The SpinFlow® integrated microplate filter (catalogue numbers starting with MY096) is designed for high-throughput sample processing on automated workstations. Its larger working volume is combined with consistent performance, and Biocomma states it can replace Millipore MSRLN0410 and MSRLN0450.
The design reduces non-specific binding, background noise and signal variation, which makes it especially suitable for protein precipitation and for sample filtration ahead of mass spectrometry. Filtration can be run by centrifugation or negative pressure, with no dead volume and high recovery.
The SpinFlow® microplate filter family also accommodates PVDF, mixed cellulose ester and PTFE membranes. The plate is stored at room temperature with a 2-year shelf life; a yellowish appearance during storage is normal and does not affect usability.
