Product overview
Iodine Solution (TJ003F) is a supplement for the selective enrichment of Salmonella. Each vial contains 0.5 mg potassium iodide and 0.4 mg iodine in 2.0 mL of distilled water.
It is used together with 0.1% Brilliant Green Solution (TJ004F): one vial of each is added to every 100 mL of Tetrathionate Broth Base (GF1029AF / KL1029AF) to prepare Tetrathionate Broth. Store dark and dry at 2-8 °C; sealed product has a 1-year shelf life.
