L-Cysteine Hydrochloride (TJ039F) is one of the two supplements for BCYE Agar. One vial each of TJ039F and Soluble Ferric Pyrophosphate (TJ040F) is added to every 100 mL of BCYE Agar Base (GF1135F / KL1135F).
The prepared medium is used for the isolation and cultivation of Legionella species. Each vial contains 0.04 g of L-cysteine hydrochloride.
