Product overview
mCCD Agar Base is listed for the selective detection and enumeration of Campylobacter from food. The base is built on meat infusion and enzymatic digests, with charcoal, sodium deoxycholate, ferrous sulfate and sodium pyruvate in the formulation.
The powder is prepared at 45.5 g per litre of purified water, boiled and autoclaved at 121 °C for 15 minutes. After cooling to 45-50 °C, one vial of supplement TJ025F is added to every 100 mL of base and mixed well. Final pH is 7.4±0.2.

- Precautions
- Not for clinical use. Do not use if the powder is lumpy. After use, autoclave all contaminated materials at 121 °C for 30 minutes before disposal.
